Reckon Rush

Reckon Rush is a one-minute mental math arcade with adaptive difficulty, anti-shortcut answer traps, and an optional Crazy mode that jumps straight into three-digit arithmetic.

How to play

Choose Adaptive for a run that starts simple and can move through Tiers 0-4, or Crazy to start and stay at Tier 5 with larger arithmetic. After the countdown, solve the displayed equation by choosing one of three answers. Correct answers add the current tier's base score plus any streak bonus; wrong answers add no points and reset the streak. The run ends after 60 seconds of active play, with paused or hidden time excluded.

Tips for this game

  • In Adaptive, protect your streak as the questions grow: correct answers build tier progress, while repeated wrong answers can move the next question down a tier.
  • Crazy does not adapt up or down; it stays at Tier 5, so use it when you want the larger-number mode immediately.
  • Do not rush just for a hidden speed bonus. Response time is recorded for local mastery stats, but the canonical score comes from tier base and streak bonus.

Common questions

Do faster answers directly earn more points?

No. Canonical score uses the question's tier base plus streak bonus. Response time is tracked as mastery telemetry but is not a direct score multiplier.

Does Crazy mode change difficulty as I answer?

No. Crazy starts at Tier 5 and stays there for the whole run. Adaptive is the mode that can promote or demote between Tiers 0-4.

Can division questions have fractions or divide by zero?

No. Current division questions are exact integer inverses with a nonzero divisor.

What happens if I hide the tab or pause?

The equation and choices are concealed and active time stops. Returning visible requires an explicit resume before play continues.
